Judging from the grinds, slides and flips on and around the Yeezy-2-fied funbox, Ye’s second Nike Sportswear collabo can indeed be appropriated for purposes other than ‘lifestyle’. On the other hand, we don’t have any feedback on the durability, and a mesh toebox isn’t exactly the kind of thing you’d typically associate with repeated griptape abrasions. So yes, you can most definitely turn heads and even successfully land some tricks in the Nike Air Yeezy 2, but the real question here is: how does that decision look over the long term?
